My Triumphant Return To Hokkaido After My Vacation

Here's the only shot I got of the New Years decorations. I was half an hour too late to see the celebration itself, and the lights were all out by the time i made it to the park around 1am.
I like this picture of the snow-covered obelisk with Sapporo's tower in the background.
Here's the view from my hotel room of a part of the city I don't visit very often - the other side of the tracks. About the only place I've been out here is Yodabashi Camera - a huge Electronics store off to the right. A nice view all told.
These are the rules for the storage lockers at Sapporo Station. Damn... now where the hell can I store that dead body?
As with every vacation, there's a homecoming. This is what awaited me at Otoineppu Station after a 4 hour train ride.
A shot from under the snow to see how thick it was.
And here's one of it looking like a mushroom.
I finally got the back door open so I could get out my snow brush. All in all, even with some help from a nice man with a snow shovel, it took about 45 minutes to clear the snow off my car.
