A Shinto Shrine in Sapporo

The entrance to the shrine. It was a bit wet that day, as you can tell, but not so bad that it mandated a jacket or umbrella.

Here's the racks whith a bunch of ornaments, and the ones covered in white paper are where you tie your fortune if it's bad luck. Mine was actually extraordinarily good luck, so I kept it.
Another shot from inside the shrine. Believe it or not, this place is right on the edge of the city. A bit farther to the right you can see an apartment building looming over the temple.
