Viewing the Cherry Blossoms in Bifuka

They actually have a fair number of cherry trees here.
I think this sign says it all...
Complete with the traditional blue tarp.
Around the grill. Yumi, Greer, and Heather.
Awwww..... now isn't that cute?
I made a friend! Can't remember his name, but he called me over and showed me a rickety ladder up to the top of a wooden torii gate. How could I say no?
One of his friends came up to join us. I was seriously impressed that this ladder could hold my weight.

We went for a walk around the park afterwards and saw some cool old-school wooden dams.

A fallen birch. Man those roots are shallow.

More cherry trees.
Ok, this isn't hanami anymore, but on the way back home we stopped to take some pictures of rice fields, because they're ubiquitous out here and I hadn't taken any yet.
