Various and Sundry Other Adventure Club Activities

For dinner we had yakiniku! Nothing like barbeque in the snow.
Everyone genki? No? Well, yeah, we did just shovel around a whole lot of snow. I suppose you're entitled to be tired.
Here's the forestry lady explaining some of the flaura and fauna we'll see on the snow-shoe hike. She's pretty nice, speaks some English, and is willing to talk to me. Now if only I could remember her name... damn I suck at this. Don't look at me like that! All Japanese names really do sound alike!
Here's the one and only shot I got on the snowshoeing expedition. We hiked through the forest around Lake Kutcharo examining the local oaks and birches and seeing various animal paw prints (mostly squirrels and foxes).
Ah, morning!
Ok, time to collapse those snow caves! Don't want bears hibernating in them.
Hey, ya know what? This'll make for a pretty good...
